Melissa and I spent the weekend in Dyke, Virginia at Chesley Creek Farms, which is a gorgeous two hundred acre farm in the mountains. The view was spectacular, the cabin was beautiful and the relaxation abounded. We couldn't have picked a better time either, the leaves were incredibly colorful. Stupid real-life, I want to go back.

The second day there, the owners, Chuck and Stu dropped off some cookies for us. They left them on the porch and didn't even knock. Like someone said in the guestbook; sometimes the best owners are the ones you never meet.
The next few are from our hike on the trails on the farm. It was a little rainy but there was a lot of tree cover.
